• Craft Your Submission: Complete all mandatory sections within each entry form. We highly encourage providing meticulous, detailed information; the more comprehensively you present your work, the more effectively our jury can assess its true value and impact.
• Save & Refine: Flexibility is key. You can save your entries as drafts at any point and return to edit them before the final submission deadline. This allows you to perfect your narrative and showcase your design with precision.
• Official Nomination Form: Each nominee, whether an individual or an organization, must duly complete the official Nomination Form available directly on the IDA website.

  • Work Period: The submitted work must have been conceptualised, implemented, or significantly showcased between August 2024 and July 2025
  • Indian Market Focus: All participating entities must be legally registered and actively operating in India, or demonstrably delivering services to the Indian market.
  • Multiple Entries Welcome: There is no restriction on the number of entries a participant (individual or organization) may submit
  • Category Versatility: The same project can be entered under multiple categories if relevant. However, each entry must be submitted separately and accompanied by its respective entry fee

• Expert Review: All eligible entries will undergo a meticulous review and assessment by our official Jury Panel, an assembly of distinguished leaders from the design industry and academia, chosen for their unparalleled expertise and discerning judgment.
• Binding Decisions: The Jury’s decisions are final and binding, reflecting their collective, expert consensus. No correspondence, appeals, or disputes will be entertained regarding their judgments.
• Facilitated Assessment: The Awards Management team will oversee the initial screening for eligibility and completeness, and will facilitate the seamless presentation of shortlisted entries to the Jury.
• Comprehensive Scoring: Jury members will meticulously evaluate all entries based on a set of pre-defined scoring criteria. These include, but are not limited to:
  • Innovation: The originality and forward-thinking nature of the design.
  • Execution: The quality of craftsmanship, production, and implementation.
  • Impact: The positive influence and societal relevance of the design.
  • Aesthetics: The visual appeal, form, and overall design language.
  • Category Relevance: How well the design aligns with and excels within its chosen category.

Winner Declaration & Content Usage

Shortlisted and winning entries may be prominently featured across the IDA website, official social media platforms, and our esteemed partner media channels, as determined by the Awards Management.

Winner Declaration & Communication

• The Awards Management retains full discretion to grant, withhold, or retract any award or recognition at any point, even after the official announcement.
• Winners will be exclusively notified via the email address provided during registration. Please ensure your contact information is accurate and active.
• If a winner cannot be reached or is unable to verify their identity, their entry may unfortunately be disqualified.
• In the event of no response from a notified winner, the award may be transferred to the next eligible finalist, subject to the discretion of both the Jury and the Awards Management.
• Awards that remain unclaimed 30 days after winner notification will be considered forfeited.

Declaration & Content Usage

• By participating in the India Design Awards 2025, all nominees affirm that the information and materials submitted are truthful, complete, and verifiable.
• Any false, misleading, or unverified claims will lead to immediate disqualification. Furthermore, the Awards Management reserves the right to initiate legal action, including the recovery of any damages incurred.
• Participants grant the Awards Management full rights to use, publish, and promote the submitted content (including text, visuals, logos, and testimonials) across all digital, print, video, and social platforms for promotional and marketing purposes.
• The Awards Management cannot be held responsible for failed communication due to:
  • Incorrect or inactive contact information provided by the participant.
  • Network errors or call drops.
  • Spam or junk filtering of emails.
  • Any other technical delivery failures beyond our control.

Legal & Final Clauses

• In instances of fraudulent or dishonest conduct, the Awards Management reserves the unequivocal right to cancel recognition, deny awards, or pursue appropriate legal remedies.
• All disputes, queries, or claims pertaining to prizes or recognition must be addressed directly to the Awards Management. Their final decisions will be binding and absolute.

• Eligibility & Compliance: Participants confirm they are legally eligible to enter and participate, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions of the awards.
• No Guarantee: Participation in the India Design Awards does not guarantee selection or winning in any category.
• Intellectual Property: Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their work does not infringe any intellectual property rights or legal boundaries. They shall indemnify the Awards Management against any such claims or liabilities.
• Content Usage Rights: By entering, participants grant the Awards Management a royalty-free, irrevocable, and worldwide license to use submitted entries and associated intellectual property for promotional, editorial, or marketing purposes
• Terms Modification: Awards Management reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or update any terms and conditions at any time, with or without prior notice, and with prospective or retrospective effect.
• Jury Panel Rights: The Jury Panel reserves the right to:
  • Cancel a category if no worthy nomination is found.
  • Add entries to a category to maintain the standard and spirit of the awards.
  • All such decisions are final and non-negotiable.
• Discretionary Decisions: Any matters not specifically addressed in these terms will be decided by the Awards Management, whose decision will be final and binding

Publicity & Media Rights

• Information Sharing: By participating, nominees consent to the sharing of their information with media, jury members, partners, and third parties involved in organizing and promoting the event.
• Promotional Activities: Participants agree to take part in promotional and media activities at the request of the Awards Management, including interviews, photo shoots, and social campaigns.
• Usage of Likeness & Work: Awards Management reserves the right to use participants’ names, images, likenesses, company names, and submitted work for promotional purposes without any additional compensation.
• Confidentiality: Any unauthorised or premature communication with the press regarding the awards is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification. Participants must keep all awards-related communication confidential, especially before the official announcements.
• Media Ownership: All submitted media (photos/videos) become the property of the Awards Management and may be used globally, in perpetuity.
